SUGARING OFF
Come celebrate the arrival of spring in the reviving maple grove
Hosted by: John Watson and the Friends of the Arboretum
Public: All are welcome
Entrance fee for members: No charge

Food: German sausages on roll, hot dogs, taffy on snow and drinks available at friendly cost
Our own production of freshly bottled maple syrup will be on sale while supplies last.
Annual Tree and Shrub Sale 2010
Will take place from Friday April 23 to Sunday April 25 as well as Friday April 30 & Saturday May 1
from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Our nursery will be open to the public on the occasion of our annual plant sale. Come browse through our selection of trees and shrubs sold at very competitive prices. The plants are grown in our nursery or come from reputable nurseries. Meet at the Arboretum nursery situated at the corner of Sainte-Marie and Des Pins Roads.

Specialty varieties and other curiosities will be auctioned at the Conservation Centre.
All proceeds support Arboretum activities.

Garden Insects: What You Should Know About Them!

What type of insect is that? Is it bad for my vegetables? Come and answer these questions and many more with Stephanie Boucher, Curator of the Lyman Entomological Museum of Macdonald Campus. Stephanie has many years’ experience dealing with harmful insects, and has even written a book on the subject.
